MMHLA Launches Corporate and Technology Councils Committed to Maternal Mental Health

Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance (MMHLA) has launched two new councils aimed at expanding and deepening our relationships with private sector companies who share our commitment to improve mental health care for mothers and childbearing individuals by focusing on national policy and health equity.

Our Corporate Council

MMHLA’s Corporate Council is composed of thought leaders from leading health care companies that prioritize the mental health and wellbeing of our nation’s mothers. These companies are committed to working together to support education, awareness, and treatment of maternal mental health.

Corporate Council members include Ascension Foundation for Health Equity, CVS Health®, GE HealthCare, Philips Healthcare, and Sage Therapeutics®.

Our Technology Council

MMHLA’s Technology Council is composed of companies in the digital behavioral health sector that are using technology to support pregnant and postpartum parents, as well as the healthcare providers who care for them. These companies are committed to expanding the number of resources and solutions available to address maternal mental health.

Technology Council members include Babyscripts™, Concert Health, Dionysus Digital Health, FamilyWell, LunaJoy, Mammha, Seven Starling, Soulside, and Trayt Health.

New Partnerships, Expanded Capacity for Our Shared Mission

Both the Corporate and Technology Councils meet quarterly, giving members the opportunity to connect with other council members and with MMHLA’s senior leadership team. These councils will expand MMHLA’s organizational capacity, enable us to develop new strategies, and offer the opportunity to exchange information and expertise related to the fields of maternal mental health and digital behavioral health.

MMHLA is excited about this new chapter in our organization’s journey, and we are eager to explore the ideas and solutions that will develop from widening our network and collaborating with innovators and thought leaders in the corporate and technology sectors.
